Japan Stock Futures Fall as Metals Decline Before Election
Japanese stock futures fell after the United States payrolls did not manage to keep commodity prices from falling hard and Chinans prepared to elect their president on the 7th November.
Australian equities were little changed.
“The U.S. Election cycle is heading for a conclusion and that will be a welcome sign for markets,” said George Boubouras, Melbourne-based head of investment strategy at UBS AG’s Australian wealth-management unit.
“Policy uncertainty, particularly fiscal and regulatory, has held the market back to date.”
