As you know there has been a massive crack down on scrap metal and the laws about it. A new law will be coming into action regarding having to have a licence to deal scrap metal.
Guidance outlines the costs local authorities can charge when issuing licences, the different types of licences, police objections to applications and the revocation of licences. It also supplies definitions of the central terms.
The act will be implemented in October 2013.
